In Pursuit of Eternal

We are just a traveller in this world. Our stay is temporary but existence is eternal. So just how our travel to any new place is to roam and explore and understand and rarely have the intention to settle. Same way we as a soul too have travelled in this body temporarily. When the time will be right our soul too will depart and leave this body aside and enter a new one. Soul is the wanderer till it rest in its resting eternal abode, Siddhashila.

So why not to get attracted to something which is eternal and will always be there than to something which is temporary and transitory in nature. Isn't it wise to have trushna for something eternal. There are more chances of achieving something which is eternal in nature than something which is temporary, because who knows the temporary object might change its nature by the time we get close to its achievement.

Isn't it that's why called temporary and not eternal, because it is in its nature to exist for only certain time frame, in one form and then change to something. In these terms temporary objects are an illusion, though its exists, but we try to achieve them with so much vigour that we forget about its nature and think about it as an eternal object and get dejected when it changes its nature.

Isn't we ourselve who are considered to be fool and not the object in whose eternal pursuit we forget our very own temporary nature.
